Visiting some of the Relatives and the Companions of the Prophet

    1st May 2018

In al-Baqi^ cemetery in al-Madinah, some of the members of the ^umrah group were able to visit a number of the graves of the relatives and Companions of the Prophet.

The grave of our Master ^Uthman ibn Afan. He was the third khalifah after the death of Prophet Muhammad and one of the 10 people who together in one sitting were promised Paradise.

This is the grave of the great scholar Imam Malik ibn Anas who is buried next to Nafi^ Mawla ibn ^Umar. Imam Malik has what is known as ‘The Golden Chain’ of narration, in which he narrates from Nafi^, and Nafi^ narrates from ibn ^Umar, who in turn narrates directly from Prophet Muhammad himself. Al-Bukhariyy said regarding The Golden Chain that is the most soundest of the chains of narration.
